Silver Lining Lost its Sheen

I just sent a newsletter out (#1510) with the good news that babysitting
and surgical jobs can't be outsourced. It didn't take long for the cynics
to remind me that surgery jobs are being outsourced by a process called
"medical tourism", and of course there are the infamous cases of the
illegal alien nannies.

It's sure tough to get away with anything. I purposely tried to forget the
stories below, but the doomsayers on this mailing list insisted on spoiling
the party for all the rest of you. As a result, don't expect another happy
newsletter for at least 18 months!

* Medical Tourism - I sure hope ya'll didn't rush to your local medical
school after you read the previous newsletter. If you did, it might not be
too late to get a refund on your tuition.

Remember Linda Chavez? I have been harshly criticized for this portrayal of
Chavez and her maids for bad taste among other things. Don't go there if
