Finding H.R. 5413

I have received many phone calls and emails from you asking where to
find HR 5413. I am heartened that there are so many policy wonks on my
mailing list!

Thomas.gov defaults to the 109th Congress, so you must search their
archives to find the bill. Do not assume that Pascrell's new bill will
be exactly the same because he is working on some changes, hopefully
for the better. He expects to re-introduce it very soon.

To find the bill, follow these instructions:

1 - Go to http://thomas.loc.gov/

2 - Click "search bills and resolutions"

3 - In the "Select Congress" scroll box to the right choose Near the
top of the page, click 108

4 - In the search box enter "H.R. 5413" without quotes

5 - Click the "Bill Number" button

6 - Click the Search button

I would highly recommend that people contact Pascrell's office if they
have suggestions for improvements in the bill. New Jersey residents
should contact Pascrell because they will be the most influential.

Click "Contact Bill" to give them feedback. Better yet, give them a
phone call.
