Vaptech Job Ad For H-1Bs only

Vaptech will only hire H-1Bs that are currently working in the U.S. who
possess a current visa. They will transfer the H-1B visa ownership from
whoever currently employes the H-1B to Vaptech. Put another way,
Vaptech is willing to buy ownership of the H-1B visa from another
company in order to "transfer" the worker.

Vaptech dangles an extra carrot to bait prospective H-1Bs by promising
a fast "green card" by processing the Green Card in South Dakota. Many
other bodyshops are using South Dakota to process visas so they must be
the fastest rubber-stamp in the USA.

One of the questionable aspects of this ad, besides the fact that they
won't consider American citizens, is the fact that they are advertising
from New Jersey but they will apply for a Green Card in South Dakota. A
quick look at their website reveals how they pull that one off - they
have an office in Sioux Falls, SD. All they will need to do is to claim
that their H-1B worker was in South Dakota because the BCIS would never
check where the actual place of employment is. Of course they could be
using the promise of a Green Card in order to hold the H-1B captive to
their bodyshop. Many times bodyshops use the promise of a Green Card as
a marketing tool even though they have no intention of ever delivering
on the promise.

I always get replies to these newsletters about what to do about these
discriminatory ads, so here it is, once again:
