Gen. Wesley Clark probably read Dilbert but he just doesn't get it.
Clark doesn't understand that Dilbert is a sarcastic comic strip, and
the ones he saw were making fun of the notion that India's IIT
graduates are superior to U.S. grads.
If you haven't seen the Dilbert comic strips on IIT grads go this page
and scroll about 1/4th the way down:

Wesley Clark is suggesting that graduates from India's IIT and others
from China's universities should be encouraged to stay in the U.S. He
didn't specify what type of visa he would give them, but it must be
some form of instant Green Card or nonimmigrant visa with a fast track
to permanency. Clark believes that the U.S. has the right to steal the
educated people of other countries, and to use them to lower labor
costs in the United States. This is a very anti-labor corporatist
notion that should be rejected by all middle-class American voters who
want to preserve their jobs and lifestyle.
Wesley Clark's globalist viewpoints are not surprising considering his
background. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations
(www.CFR.org) - an organization that is dedicated to globalizing the
world. In addition he was a CEO of of Wesley K. Clark & Associates,
served on a Board of Directors of Messer-Griesheim, Acxiom, and SIRVA
Corporation, and has been Chairman of the Board of WaveCrest
Laboratories.
Could somebody contact Clark and explain to him that Scott Adams was
just joking? It's unlikely a corporatist can change his colors, but if
somebody doesn't enlighten him the joke will be on the American worker
if he gets elected.

Question: Immigration
Answer
Were a nation of immigrants. We should be encouraging every person
from the Indian Institute of Technology that comes to this country to
stay in this country. Become an American citizen. Join with us. Make a
great company. Lets all be wealthy and prosperous and happy
together. Immigration has a vital part to play in that process.
Why wouldn't we want to bring in the best and brightest people from all
around the world, and say come and take your chance in the 21st
century on America? Become Americans. Do what people have done for
centuries when they sought a new frontier, a new environment, a new
opportunity. Come here. I think that we should be looking for the best
and the brightest from the Indian Institute of Technology, or the great
universities in China, or elsewhere. They should stay here with us, and
they should start universities or start their companies here, and help
us create jobs and intellectual capital in America. So I am very
pro-immigration.
