I speculated that the visa used by the Chinese spy could have been a
Green Card. An astute reader of this newsletter pointed out that Green
Cards don't expire; only a temporary visas expire.
Qing Chang "Frank" Jiang was a Chinese citizen with an expired U.S.
visa. That must mean that he had a nonimmigrant visa that was out of
status, or that his employer hired him illegally.
Several people including myself have contacted reporters asking for the
specific visa used. Hopefully somebody will soon find the answer.

and then reselling a computer to Intel.
