I have received several responses from people that are really angered about
Rapidigm. I hope they will funnel their anger into political or legal
activism because I don't think we gain anything from flaming them with
emails. Rapidigm isn't doing anything different than TATA, Infosys, or
dozens of other bodyshops. They are in the H-1B business, not the American
worker business. They won't hire Americans no matter how loud you shout at
them.

If we castigate Rapidigm too much they won't change their hiring policies
but they will change what kind of information they put online. That means no
more LCAs. The LCAs they put online allow us to see what they are doing and
I have never seen anybody else do it.

Give Rapidigm credit - they are being honest about everything except their
desire to hire American workers. Unfortunately that's the one thing that
hasn't been proven in a court of law to be illegal.

In my opinion nothing will be gained by flaming Rapidigm with email or
flooding them with resumes. Remember that ACWIA only states that companies
make a "good faith effort" to find an American for the job. Since "good
faith effort" isn't defined they could say that chunking your resume in the
garbage can was all the effort they needed.

If you want to do something that might change their behavior please file a
complaint with the DOL or DOJ. Go here to find out how:

I apologize for the huge volume of newsletters lately. This news will have
to slow down eventually.
