Barbara Boxer was once praised for doing some ``heavy lifting'' to get the
H-1B bill included in the budget so that it could be passed without public
notice. In addition, Boxer and Feinstein were instrumental in arranging a
huge fund raiser in Silicon Valley that persuaded (i.e. bought) Clinton and
Gore to support the H-1B increases. In this recent letter she is still an
unabashed H-1B fan. Her callous attitude towards the American workers that
built Silicon Valley has to be read to be believed.

Joe Knollenberg, Congressman from Michigan, starts out with some typical
boiler plate about how American workers are protected from losing their job
to foreigners. Then the bad news - he says that the U.S. needs H-1Bs to be
globally competitive. Hey Joe, haven't we heard this all before from your ex
Senator Abraham? Abraham was defeated in part because H-1B activists
mobilized against him. Joe just didn't learn from history.
