If you have been discriminated against in favor of an H-1B it is not easy to
figure out where to file a complaint and how. There are many different
government agencies that can be contacted and they all handle different
types of complaints and they don't make it that easy how to file.
The Sunclassaction site has done some heavy duty research to make this
easier for people. On one webpage you can view a list of government agencies
with links to contacts and complaint forms. Go to
http://www.sunclassaction.com/forms/index.htm to see the list.
These government agencies claim that they receive very few complaints from
U.S. workers. Most of the complaints filed are from H-1Bs. Isn't it about
time that American workers step forward and demand that our government
should do something about the blatant discrimination that is being practiced
by greedy companies that continue to replace Americans with cheap foreign
labor?
The only way to fight H-1B is to get active. It does very little good to
gripe about H-1B to friends or internet chat groups. Citizens need to
contact these government agencies because their investigators cannot do
anything until they receive a complaint. Silence will not solve the H-1B
problem. Harris Miller (ITAA) once stated that techies and programmers are
too docile to take forceful action to form unions or complain - and so far
he is right.
